Bed of Nails - Today about the only time you will see someone lying on a bed of nails ( nails hammered closely together to form a bed) is usually for entertainment purposes. Sexually it is used to bring a person out of their daily routine and into a state of invigoration. Laying on a bed of nails brings the body to a state of heightened sensativity. Used in a sexual way, it takes the mind off the trials and tribulations of everyday life, and makes one more aware of their body and pain. The nails are situated in such a way that it reduces the risk of punctures. It must be noted that most people prefer to have their head rest on a frims dense pillow, and that some type of covering be worn on the private parts to insure no injury.
