Body art comes in many forms, from tattoos, and body sculpture (carving)
to piercing's and alterations (plastic surgery). In the body art fetish
people start out with one or two piercing's or tattoos and it becomes
an addiction. There might be a theme to the tattoos or the piercing's
or it just might be random. Some get a tattoo to to signify an important
time or event in their lives, the birth of a child or death of a loved
one.
When fetish is involved,

thinking about their next piece of body art. It becomes a game, and

is considered beauty. Many of these rituals have come to america, and
many people into body art have adopted these types of rituals into their
