San Diego, California - State appeals court upheld California’s policy of banning inmates from access to anything showing female or male frontal nudity. 4th district Court of Appeals sided with the California Department of Corrections on April 11th, ruling that the ban was a legitimate avenue to protect female guards against harassment or inmates using sexual material to bater for other goods. The Department of corrections also stated the ban would also aviod anatomical comparisions that lead to fights between prisoners.

Inmate Stephen Snow in San Diego challenged the ban after his magazines that contained photgraphs of nude women where seized. Though the ban does not keep inmates from having provocative pictures or sexual writings. It also exempts materials such as medical text books or reference materials such National Geographic.

note: Prisoners dont have much, least let them have their porn. Gotta suck.
