Charmane was born in the Philippines but moved to California at an early age and grew up in San Fransisco. After turning 18 she turned to nude modeling. She made her first film in 1998 but left 4 years later to manage a night club. She didn't do movies during that time and only did some photo shoots. She returned in 2003 to open up her own site though. Charmane Star has now become one of the top Asian pornstars in the biz.

Regarding her personal life, she likes to collect paintings and sculptures and wants to own an art gallery in the future. In 2005 she began learning how to be a DJ. Nowadays she is more of a fetish model, posing for pictures relating to smoking, stockings and heels.
