One thing that has kept me very busy lately, is search engine optimization. Not long ago I hired some one to teach me what I did’nt know about getting search engine traffic. I’ve done all right in the past, even got some good ranks last year, but it was short lived, Sure was some things I needed to learn. I did learn quite a bit out of the seo guru, some things that were just plain common sense, kinda like DUH! Only problem is, with over 400 catagories and many, many pages on my sites, it’s a ton of work to seo everything, very time consuming!

What amazes me is how many people just dont get it. I see so many posts of webmasters, mostly new ones, complaining their site is not showing up in the search engines. They build their new site, submit it to the SE’s and think they are done, wondering why it did’nt work. There is no short cut, it’ takes time to do it right, least ranks that will last. It is possible to spam the search engines and make some money, course if you know how to do it, but it’s always short lived. I would rather do it right and make money for a long time. I’d rather have my site ranked well for the long run and make even more money. Maybe I’m odd.
